Hodgsons Sewing Centre continues to provide services to the people of Howick and the surrounding district as it has done for more than 35 years. The vision is to make available all haberdashery, buttons, beads, wool, zips, tulle, net, lining, embroidery threads, notions, sewing machines, embroidery machines, and overlockers that anyone could need, and to provide that service with a smile.
The new shop at 16 Moore Street, Howick (which was as it happens a previous Hodgsons shop) has all the craft and sewing supplies you might need. This includes wool, beads, buttons, 100% cotton fabric, quilting supplies, ribbons, braids, fringes, trims, sewing machines, embroidery machines, Overlockers, threads for sewing, embroidery, & quilting, Bling, Felt in many colours, batting, filling, Velcro, Knitting and crochet patterns, embroidery designs, and so so much more.
We will be running classes again, once we are a little more settled in the shop - check our classes' page from time to time. Do come and fossick If we don't have what you need we can try to source it for you. Vicky and the team
